Proposals

The key features of our draft plans are as follows:

    • 100,000 sq ft of new manufacturing floorspace, providing larger and more efficient facilities, to secure Crane’s ongoing presence in Cwmbran (operating in the town since 1934)
    • 13,000 sq ft of new office space, to support Crane’s day-to-day manufacturing work
    • 176 car parking spaces, including provision for electric vehicles providing sufficient parking for all employees and visitors, without overspill onto neighbouring roads
    • A high-quality design that responds to Cwmbran’s industrial heritage, whilst providing a world class working environment and incorporating modern energy efficient initiatives
    • New soft landscaping features, to enhance the appearance of the site and the surrounding area
    • Dedicated bicycle storage, to encourage sustainable transport
